On first impression, her streamline exterior suggests slick performance, and her luxurious open main deck flags a true entertaining yacht. While there is no doubt she is certainly an entertaining yacht on further inspection you will find she is quite versatile in that the open plan main deck lends herself perfectly to corporate entertaining and also social and family cruising. MOONGLIDER is a yacht that will bring people together. As a yacht built for discerning an owner, there is certainly going to be severe cabin envy. The master cabin has its own generous salon which can be used as an office, cinema, private meeting room, or best of all a place to relax and reflect in complete privacy. Additionally in the master stateroom on the port side is pullman which will comfortably sleep a child up to the age of approx 6-7 years old. The full-beam master cabin with flanking hull windows, full-beam bathroom with Jacuzzi coupled with the generous lower deck owners salon is a surprise for a yacht of this size. In fact, it would represent a similar-sized master cabin on a 35 to 40m yacht. Be sure to view the video to see for your self. On the lower deck, forward of the master cabin, is a double cabin to port, to starboard is a twin ensuite cabin with pullman. All fitted out as luxuriously as the master cabin in deep espresso timber finishes with gold accents, marble vanity tops and marble floors. Forward of the guest cabins is the fully equipped lower deck galley and crew accommodation in two cabins for a total of 3 crew. The previous owner is said to have spent over €200,000 on electronic upgrades i.e. stereo amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, high-resolution TVs, etc. and it’s all rather obvious once you turn up the volume in any of the various areas, its way over the top. The current owner has spent €50,000 1.5 years ago on new navigation electronics at the helm. In the upper salon + aft deck are new touchscreens, aft deck speakers, and upper salon ceiling speakers to name a few of the audio upgrades. So what sets MOON GLIDER apart from other Leopard 27m yachts? There are significant differences to be noted. The owner comments "I looked at countless other 27‘s around the world and Moon Glider was by far the most appealing to me. Most 27‘s have an open aft area with no glass enclosing the upper salon. The enclosed versions are vastly superior, as are (in my opinion) the flat glass door models versus the curved glass door models that consume much more space. Ours also has the two aft sunbeds that convert into dining areas by hydraulically raising and lowering the dining tables. MOON GLIDER is also uncommon in that it has two distinct vibes from the upper salon to the lower. The lower deck is quite elegant with the espresso walls and white carpeting. The lower salon is one of my favorite rooms in any boat I’ve been in. " This is a major difference and allows this Leopard 27 to be the versatile entertainer she is."
